同樣地，透過智邦提供的 phpMyAdmin (2.7.0-pl2) 得知 MySQL 版本為 4.1.8。Server 預設的文字編碼是 latin1，這還 OK，可以把資料庫校對編碼改成使用 utf8_general_ci。接著嘗試透過 phpMyAdmin 匯入 wp-db-backup 外掛所產生的備份檔，可以正常匯入完畢。但是，許多中文在 phpMyAdmin 中變成了問號。
